Jack-in-the-"Box"

These past week, I had a little bit of a scare that I was going into pre-term labor. For those of you reading that hate pregnancy details, you might want to stop reading. :) I have been progressively been feeling intense pelvic pressure, almost the feeling you get when you ride a bike all day, for a two weeks now. I decided to have my doc check it out since it was getting worse by the day and she said that Jack was really low. So they tested me for preterm labor and I came out negative. I was elated to hear this because if it was positive there was a 20% chance that he could come within the next three weeks and it would inevitably mean bed rest. That is a lot of bed rest people...a good 6-10 weeks and Jack could have possibly been in the NICU for a while. However, we escaped both of these sentences (for now) and I just have to back off on activity. I am hoping that Jack stays in the "box" at least until 36 weeks and then he can surprise us if he wants!

I'm praying that that little "Jack" stays put. You hang in there!! How are you besides all the baby stuff? Are you getting enough sleep? Girl, sleep all you can now cause you be missing it later....:)

Love to you!

I am praying for Jack not to think outside the box just yet.

If you are coming to Bible study any Tuesday night, let me know. I do have the books you are reading. I would be happy to loan them to you.

What a scary thing! I'm glad you're both okay. How many weeks are you now?

I'm so sorry that you went through that scare! I will be praying the bedrest will not be a part of this pregnancy. So glad Jack is doing good!

I just want to say that you have never rode a bike all day, so how can you make that comparison? Just a question. Not to mention that you act like riding a bike all day is a common occurrence for the majority of your readers.

Oh and by the way, that joy ride so your friend could make our with your cousin doesn't count as an all day ride.

But on a nice and serious note, we are all glad that Jack is not in as much of a hurry as we thought. I would like to meet him, but for everyone's health I can wait.

That is really good news! FYI...I had the same thing for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. Mal was really low and I was tested also for pre-term. Take it easy - all will be good!
