Per request, here are some pics of our new house. I have not done the kids rooms yet, so I will save those pictures for a later date. As of right now, Keegan is sleeping in a room with butterfly border! :) (What he does not realize won't scar him! Besides, maybe it will inspire him to be a butterfly museum manager like his dad one day! Good thing Jonathan does not keep up with my blogs as much because he might just flip over the uncovering of his past jobs!)
Kitchen Angle #1
Kitchen Angle #2 (across from table and chairs)
Living Room Angle #1
Living Room Angle #2
Play Room (used to be dining room) This is right off the kitchen so I can watch him while I blog and cook!
Dining Room (used to be formal living room) We need need to find some chairs! :)
Our Bedroom
Our Bathroom (I love the jacuzzi tub!)
Guest room (It was this yellow when we bought it and liked it a little bit more when I put our stuff in it.) So if you come stay with us you might have to wear sunglasses in your room! The previous owners left this bed for us! They did not have room to take it with them in their truck, so they gave it to us for free!

Beautiful home! What a blessing and a year for that matter! Good luck with the remainder of the decorating - you have done a great job so far!

Ooooooooohhhhhhh! I lurve it! I love the glass cabinet doors in your kitchen. I can't wait to come visit!
WOW....it is incredible! I love it so much. The kitchen is fabulous! I love that you wrote "the kids'" rooms. It is so great that you are soon to have "kids"
Loveyou
the pictures are great. your home looks so warm, inviting and welcoming. you are going to be the most popular mom in the neighborhood.
i love it, michelle! i hope you have so much fun seeing it all come together! i think my favorite part is the little counter in the kitchen with the computer ... so cute!!
I love it so much. Especially the kitchen/nook cabinets. So beautiful!
Wow!!! Beautiful!!! I love the green you chose!!! Green is my favorite color, but sometimes it's hard to figure out which hue of green will go!!! Great job!!! :) I love the other colors too!!! Makes me want to paint in our home, but we rent...more time to think, I guess! ;) Can't wait to see the kids rooms! Fun!!! :) Great pictures! :)
It is such a beautiful home! I know you guys are going to enjoy it. I also love the post when you talked about the lady you met in your neighborhood. Isn't it just like God to provide for the details in our lives...even if it means a new friend that is in a similar situation in life. So happy for you!
Lovely! Congrats on your new home. I'm kind of doing the same thing, because we just moved. Only I am having to stretch mine out over several blog entries because friends and family just aren't satisfied with one picture of each room! lol. Many blessings --Lynn
I hope you don't mind another comment from a total stranger...
I LOVE that desk in your kitchen. I want to have a "command central" like that someday.
Also, I'm going to steal your idea and turn our next house's dining room (off kitchen) into a playroom and formal living room into dining room. I was planning to make the formal living room into a playroom, but your idea makes more sense. And since most houseplans have a nook these days, it isn't a big deal for the dining room to be a bit farther from the kitchen.
Genius!!
Also, love the diagonal tile. And coveting the tub...
AND one more thing. Love the cross over the fireplace. I notice on a lot of Texan blogs ladies have cross decor and I'm wondering where you all find such neat treasures...
