We are getting somewhere people!!!

After offering the sippy cup to Keegan for several months and him throwing it at me and on the floor, he finally drank from it by himself!! I know this sounds so minimal, but to me it is HUGE! Keegan never likes to hold his own bottle and I thought that it was going to carry over to the sippy cup. Not only did he take some sips, he drank all of it. He still tosses it at me, but at least I know he can do it! So, I am just taking a second to celebrate a big boy moment in the life of Keegan. (It's the little things in life...)

I feel ya! That was a big day in our house too when Ava would take a sippie cup and actually drink an entire drink from it.

That IS a big deal!! Any mom knows that. Those pictures of him are so cute. He's looking so different from the last time I got to see him in person. That is so sad for me.

While I rejoice with you, (been there, celebrated that) my kids are in a different stage of life. Two teenagers at home and I can't get them to stop eating and drinking...although, they do still leave their cups laying around...they never quite outgrow that Michelle!

Way to go Keegan! That is a huge accomplishment. Joshua still won't hold his own sippy cup, but has managed to fall in love with his straw cup.

My son is almost fourteen months and I still either hold his bottle/sippy cup or lay him on his back so he can drink it himself.

He also doesn't use utensils yet, at all.

I think I just baby him too much and I am in no hurry for him to grow up.

I figure he'll master the sippy cup and spoon by the time he starts kindergarten, right?

Congratulations on your son's big accomplishment. I would be doing a dance of joy! I have that same cup, too. Alas, no luck.

That is awesome! Mallory was like that, she threw hers in the trash can without me knowing. I finally figured out where all the cups were going when I found 4 in the trash can one day!

That is a big thing. I remember when Chase finally got the hang of the "sippy cup" and then one day picked it up before I could put the lid on it...needless to say, he got 2 baths that day! It was so funny!
