Easter Outfits
Since I do not have the luxury of dressing up little girls, I like the times I can put the boys in ties. They just looks so handsome and grown up! Jonathan usually does not like me to match them, but on this occasion he was perfectly fine with it. I went to the trouble of finding it so I get my way...right?
Keegan came home from church and immediately got on his bicycle and put on a helmet. We had fun with the rest!

SS Class Easter Egg Hunt
A couple weekends ago, we had our Sunday School class over for an Easter Egg Hunt/Cookout. We could not ask for a better day with the weather. Why does summer have to come and all the humidity and mosquitoes that accompany it? My neighbor said it best when he said, "We would not afford living here if it was this nice most of the year." Good point! Here are a few pics from that day!

Happy Anniversary to Us!
Well, actually today is not our anniversary, but yesterday was...but we celebrated it the day before. Confused? Yes, well so were we! Saturday morning I woke up and Jonathan surprised me with flowers and a card. I rubbed my glazed eyes since we were up all night with Jack screaming from his molars coming in. I said, "Uh thanks...but...uh...um....is today the 5th?" Luckily I had already got him a card the day before so I was set and ready. He checked the calendar and realized that it was really the 4th. OOOPS! We had our sunday school class over for our first annual easter egg hunt and had a great time with friends and stayed up late talking. It was a fabulous day and the weather was perfect! Sunday morning we woke up and laughed as said, "Happy Anniversary" ...again. It was loaded up with church and choir practice for Easter, but at the end of the day we finally had a chance to celebrate. We had chinese food and watched Slumdog Millionaire. I LOVE that movie! Finally a movie that got awards that I would give an award to. (You know what I mean?) In a couple of weekends we are getting away for our anniversary and going to Bastrop to the Hyatt Lost Pines resort. I am thrilled about this you have no idea. Last years trip was overshadowed by the crummy hotel that we stayed in after we had one free night at the Hyatt Hill Country and I was a little bit of a Debbie Downer.
Anyhow..Happy Anniversary Jonathan for the third day in a row! You are amazing and I am so proud of you! I think our 7th year is going to be sweeter than than the last 6. It just keeps getting better and better! I love you!

All Things New
I love Spring, it is for sure my favorite. There is something in the air that triggers you to clean out your house, put things in bags for garage sales, spend hours outside, and well....get back to blogging. I think there are just some seasons that seem overwhelming and blogging doesn't make it on the list. BUT...I'M BAAACK!
One of my dear friends from Houston Northwest had her baby boy yesterday, Colt Hudson. He was born early, weighing in at 8 lbs. 15 oz. Stacie is very glad that he came early before he got bigger! She called me yesterday about an hour after he was born said, "Hey", like I was about to have a normal conversation with her. I said, "Uh..did you have the baby?" Her reply was, "Yeah, about an hour ago, everyone is off with the baby." No sweat off her brow...she was just glad to be in her by herself. I went with some friends to visit her last night and he is a cutie...perfect in every way.
Since Stacie is busy with her third child, I am stepping in for her to lead a home wednesday night student bible study. I am way excited to meet some students from my new church and teach for a couple months. That starts tonight and I am hoping for us to gel! I am apprehensive about Keegan and Jack staying up till 9pm, so you can pray for that. (They are coming with me!) Jonathan is teaching Financial Peace on Wednesday nights, so we have to do what works!
Jack is making life so much easier these days! I think he is dropping his morning nap which makes more time for errands and fun activities. Both boys are on the same schedule, so Mom now has her afternoon to herself.
Lastly, this Spring I am planting some flowers. It is a first and I have a great yard to do it in. Geraniums and Impatiens. We will see if they last. Some of my Geraniums are withering and not getting enough sun, so hopefully I can fix that problem and move my pot. I have a neighbor that is widowed and she spends her time gardening. She is so sweet and great at what she does. So I visit her and she helps me know my plants. She is so precious that Marilyn. I do feel a little better that her Geraniums are withering too and it is not just my inexperience.
Spring lifts my spirit. I lerve it.
