Not So Fabuloso!

A couple times at the condo I was able to get a maid and she used awesome smelling cleaning solution. It was my favorite scent and I never got around to ask her what it was. I thought for sure it was a special solution you got at a professional cleaning store. So, recently I decided to get a maid once a month to help with a deep clean since I have limited time on my hands. She asked, "Do you have Fabuloso"? I said, "Fabu-what?" She said, "Fabuloso??" She did not speak very good English so I had not clue really what was saying. Later that week, I went for my normal grocery run and saw the solution called "Fabuloso". I bought it out of curiosity and realized that it was the exact solution that the maid at the condo used! I was so excited that I went home and immediately started cleaning. My house never smelled so wonderful.

So onto this week. After the crazy weekend of many events, Monday came rolling around and the house was a complete wreck! It was dirty and cluttery and it was getting under my skin. So, I brought out the Fabuloso and went to work. Slowly, the aroma started settling my nerves and it put me in a happy trance. I whistled while I worked and went up stairs to put away clothes and such. While I was upstairs I realized that Keegan was being very quiet and that usually means one of two things. He is either reading a book or being VERY mischievous.

I went downstairs and heard, "Squirt, Squirt, Squirt!". I thought, "This can not be good!" I found him spraying himself with the Fabuloso, spraying the ground, and then licking it off of his fingers! He was rubbing it all over his chest like he was bathing. He apparently reached really hard to get it off the kitchen counter. I of course completely flip out and he realized very fast that he was in big trouble. His bottom lip protruding out is always a dead give a way that he KNOWS. So, I rushed him upstairs and bathed him. I thought for sure that it was not good for his skin and I had ruled out that he did not digest much. I scrubbed and scrubbed that boy and we both smelled like Fabuloso for the rest of the day. When it says, "Long Lasting Scent"...it means it.

I then remembered a couple weeks ago that I saw a special with Matt Lauer on the today show on how many cleaning solutions look like "juice"...including Fabuloso. A few days later Keegan pointed to it and said, "juice". I thought to myself that I needed to make sure to keep it locked up.

So never the less, I think I might take a sabadacle from the Fabuloso, and make sure I never leave cleaning solution in the reach of Keegan's go-go gadget arms.

I definitely am going to try this Fabuloso!!! I get strangely excited about new cleaning products.
I'm so sorry Keegan got a hold of it. That is one of my nightmares. This is a reminder to me that I need to double check that cleaning products and medicines are out of reach. I forget how big our babies are and now they can just reach up and grab something if they want it. It's crazy.

That's hysterical - I stumbled upon this stuff about 6 months ago and love it!

Did I tell you that I picked up some Fabuloso after you told me about it? I am going to learn from you not to assume that Jackson can't get it off the counter. You have the best stories, my friend! I'm glad you didn't have to call poison control.

This is both horrifying and funny at the same time. I started using natural cleaners for the most part b/c of my fear of this happening to Moriah.

Hey Michelle!! I went to Dollar General today and while shopping, I saw Fabuloso. I was standing there opening each colored bottle and this man looked at me funny...I guess he thought I was trying to get high or something...lololol!! I was just smelling it...then I told him that I had heard great things about it and then another lady walked up and said she used it and it's great! I loved the smell of each one...purple, blue, red, etc.
