Happy Mirthday Jack!

Jack is 4 months today! He is such a happy baby and he makes me laugh everyday. His eyes completely light up when you are around and squeals with delight all the time. I love to just stare at him because he is so beautiful...I mean handsome.:) He is our little overachiever in so many ways. Yesterday he rolled from his tummy to his back and is trying super hard to go from back to tummy. However, he has rolled from back to tummy in his sleep twice. Not sure why he can't do it when he is awake. I think he is going to be the one that will walk early because he is going to be our crazy energetic and spunky child.

He sleeps on average between 8-10 hours a night. He goes to sleep around 7pm, so we are still waking up between 2am-4am, but I am hoping he will stretch that out soon. One thing we are hoping to get under control is his spit up. This guy goes through 4 or more outfits a day and MANY burp cloths. We tried Enfamil AR because it is heavier on the stomach and it worked really well for about a week and now he back to his old ways. So, hoping to figure out what we can do to help him and our clothes! The other day I looked down on my shirt and the spit up was correctly placed where it looked like I was lactating. (Awesome!) You know, at the end of the day, I know that it will pass, but wow, in the moment of the flood of spit up is seems like eternity. Praise God he is a "happy spitter" and not "colicky"!!

Keegan is getting more used to him and the other day I caught him taking a burp cloth and cleaning Jack's face. Even though he smeared it all over his face, he was so proud of himself and I was proud of him. Just one of those moments. He makes sure that Jack has his pacee when he cries and has socks on his feet.

I feel like we are rounding the corner and having two kids is becoming much easier. I am actually enjoying my current life more and can not imagine not having Jack around.

He is adoreable! He might have a small case of reflux. There is medicine that he can take before he eats that will help. Hope he gets better quickly. It's great hearing about your boys. :)

Love the pictures of him!! I want to drive down to Houston right now and pinch those precious rolls!

Ella spit up like Jack. It was constant. EVERY SINGLE TIME she ate, she spit up. It was just one of those things. We tried a few different things to help, but nothing did. So I just resigned to it. And at about 9 months it finally started to slow down. I'm sorry! Hang in there. I know the amount of laundry alone can be overwhelming.

he IS so handsome. what a beautiful complextion he has...Landry did the spit up thing and we switched her to Enfamil Lactofree. That is what she is still on. It is great and she is less gassy too. Enjoy those boys!
