You know how you can have a premonition that tells you that you should stay away from any possible germs the weekend before a holiday? Well, I ignored it and low and behold a stomach bug entered into our house this week. Tuesday in the wee mornings, Keegan started throwing up. Wednesday in the wee morning, Jonathan gets sick. Wednesday afternoon, I start getting sick and can't stop throwing up and about 3 in the morning decide to go to the hospital. After two IV bags, contractions due to dehydration, some really gross hospital turkey for Thanksgiving, and 9 hours later, I get released.
On Tuesday and Wednesday my parents and brother come in town to have Thanksgiving with us since we really did not feel like we could go out of town with the possibility of a Jack-in-the box. We were really looking forward to having a couple days of games, movies and fun. So fast forward, and late Thursday, my niece Jacey gets it and she goes to the hospital. She leaves only after a couple hours, but still the germs are still around! We are really praying that Matt, Jenifer or my parents don't get it.
What I am thankful for this year for Thanksgiving is my family who helped us through, a mom who hopefully eliminated the guest from our house and a BIG thanks to Clorox products!
