I am so fickle!

I have the fun opportunity of picking out paint colors for the new house. I really mean it...I love thinking about all the possiblities. One day I want to go totally edgy and and another I want to be clean and crisp. I will go to bed and think...it is decided...that is what I am going for. The next morning I rethink it all over again. Someone help me! I could never be an interior designer because I would take to long to decide.

I always say to go with clean and crisp colors. You can always throw in some cool bright accents to brighten it up. Or you could paint an accent wall later on.

Or do the easy thing and just have Aunt Janet do it - she has an eye for those things. If you want to go that route.

Michelle,
I am the same way! I finally went to Memorial Paint & Decor and had someone there help me....I took a few pictures from magazines of the types of rooms I liked and the "look" I wanted....it was great!

How about light blue and light yellow?!?! I am thinking that you could have a Noah's Ark theme throughout the house, cause that would be really cool.......

i'm about to be in the same place. we're going to take down all the hideous wallpaper we've been living with for nearly 7 years, and i have to come up with 3 paint colors. then we might redo the exterior as well, but that will be later.

I sooo wish we could paint...but since we live in a rent house I would say go for colors that you love looking at, but that you can put anything with! I think I would use green since it can go with sooo many things...but I also love florals (cottagey stuff), so that means that anything with green leaves can go. I have seen some people use that really neat light khaki green and also butter cream yellow, and then there's that really nice sea foam color, it's very light and not-so-green-not-so-blue. I definitely think you should spend some time looking in magazines and pic what you find yourself going to the most! :) Good luck!!!
