How much wood could a woodchuck chuck?

Keegan has for sure hit some milestones this week. I can remember when he used to play on his playmat and be entertained by the toys that dangled up above while I relaxed and sipped my sonic coke. Not anymore. He has learned the art of crawling. No more army crawling...quick crawling. Everything is entertaining to him. Electronic cords, cabinet doors, and tables are his new favorite things. I walked into the room the other day to find him sucking on the end of our table. I was exhausted, so I figured..what the heck...let him. Then I heard this noise that only his four little teeth can make. I heard him start gagging and looked at the table to notice a little sliver of wood missing and brown specs all on his face. I started fishing in his mouth for it but it went down the back exit before I could catch it. I guess it is the first of several things that Keegan will endulge in that is foreign to his digestive system.

This is only the beginning! This is the official time they begin exploring for sure! I remember when caught Mallory in my makeup bag at age 1 1/2. She was pretty smart: she got the lipstick and was putting it on the correct part of her face :} It was everywhere - too funny. You will look back at the table when he is older and laugh at the good old times!

"I was exhausted, so I let him do it"---HA! I've said/done that a million times! We pick our battles.

About a month ago, I heard scraping noises, and Ava was biting the brick of our fireplace with her teeth. Disgusting. I bet her stomach has a thin lining of brick concrete on it. Oh well...what's done is done.

Hee, hee. My grand-Keegster is going to give you a run for your money! Oh, but wait, he is coming to our house for 2 weeks.....sounds as if we should store our furniture! Can't wait to see our little "beaver".
Love ya, Mom

Keegan is getting so big. He is a doll and I mean that in the most manly way possible. What I am trying to say is, he sure is a cutie!

Michelle,
That sure brings back memories. Next time you are at the church, and see Rae E., ask her about the time Collin ate the cockroach! Ugh!

Glad that Keegan has entered the "chew on everything" stage! We have two barstools that are down to splinters...which means that I had many exhausted moments in which I decided to just let him go for it. I can't believe he is crawling...can't wait to see him in action soon!
